How do I set up my TorqueTunes device? +
Plug it into your OBD2 port under the dash, open the app, and pair over Bluetooth 5.0. Takes under 2 minutes.
What vehicles are supported? +
All OBD2 vehicles 1996 and newer. Priority tune support starts with Subaru WRX/STI, Ford Mustang GT/EcoBoost, VW Golf GTI/R, Honda Civic Si/Type R, and BMW 3 Series/M3.
Can I use the app without the device? +
Yes. You can browse tunes, follow tuners, and join the community for free without the device. The OBD2 device is required to flash tunes, stream live vitals, and run diagnostics.
How do I flash a tune? +
Find a tune in the catalog, tap Flash, and the app handles the rest. Make sure your device is connected and your vehicle is on before starting. You can roll back to stock anytime from the Garage screen.
My device isn’t connecting. What do I do? +
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled, you’re within 30 feet, and the device is fully seated in the OBD2 port. Try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, remove the device and re-pair from app settings.
How do I request support for my vehicle? +
Go to the Supported Platforms section on the homepage and tap “Request Your Platform.” Fill out your year, make, model, and engine. We review requests weekly and prioritize by volume.
