By using the TorqueTunes app, website, or OBD2 device, you agree to these Terms of Service. Read them carefully — especially the section on tune flashing and vehicle modifications.

1. Use of the App and Device

TorqueTunes grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the TorqueTunes app and OBD2 device for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app or device firmware
  • Use the platform to distribute malicious, unauthorized, or vehicle-damaging tune files
  • Circumvent any security or verification features built into the platform
  • Use the service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase the device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

2. Tune Flashing and Vehicle Modifications

Important: Flashing a tune modifies your vehicle’s ECU calibration. This can affect performance, emissions output, and may void your manufacturer warranty. You assume all risk associated with flashing tunes to your vehicle.

By flashing any tune — whether from TorqueTunes-verified tuners or community uploads — you acknowledge and agree:

  • TorqueTunes is not responsible for any vehicle damage, mechanical failure, or safety issues arising from tune flashing
  • TorqueTunes is not responsible for voided manufacturer warranties resulting from ECU modifications
  • TorqueTunes is not responsible for emissions non-compliance, failed inspections, or regulatory issues
  • You are solely responsible for verifying that a tune is appropriate for your specific vehicle, engine, supporting modifications, and fuel type before flashing
  • Always maintain a backup of your stock calibration and use the rollback feature if any issues arise

TorqueTunes-verified tunes are dyno-tested, but testing conditions may differ from your specific vehicle configuration. Use verified tunes as a starting point, not a guarantee.

3. Community Tunes and User Content

TorqueTunes allows tuners to upload and sell tunes through the platform. By uploading content:

  • You confirm that you own the content or have the right to distribute it
  • You grant TorqueTunes a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, safety, and legality of tune files you upload
  • TorqueTunes reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or poses a safety risk

Community tunes are not verified by TorqueTunes unless explicitly marked as TT Verified. Use community tunes at your own discretion and risk.

4. Payment and Refunds

The TorqueTunes OBD2 device is priced at , with free shipping within the USA.

Device Returns: You may return the device within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it is in original condition and has not been physically damaged. Contact us at torquetunes.official@gmail.com to initiate a return.

Tune Purchases: Digital tune purchases are non-refundable once the tune has been downloaded or flashed to your vehicle. If you experience a technical issue with a purchased tune, contact us and we will work to resolve it.

All payments are processed securely by our payment provider. TorqueTunes does not store credit card information.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The TorqueTunes platform, app, and device are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the device will be compatible with every supported vehicle in every configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TorqueTunes disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TorqueTunes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including vehicle damage, loss of data, or lost profits — arising out of your use of the platform or device, even if TorqueTunes has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TorqueTunes after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
